Johan Lorbeer is a famous German still life performance artist who uses himself as his artwork in public locations, creating novel optical stunts to impress his audience -


There is something quite powerful and god like about his appearance, with everyone else beneath him. It's almost as if hes in his own world, that no one else is there, that he is better that everyone else and it's beneath him to be involved in the morning rush with the other commuters.
The illusion is created by a support bar in the learning arm, whilst his real one is just down the side. Although these images have an initial shock value to see, it would never match the experience of the people that were there to witness.
