Kerry Skarbakka

Hows this for shocking imagery. Kerry Skarbakka is a concept artist from Pennsylvania whose photography creates the illusion of people falling in dangerous circumstances. The effect is created using hidden harnesses.

To look at these images for the first, you get that instant shock of what you are seeing, especially when you don't know the context behind it, that its being used for artistic purposes. These pieces had a breathtaking effect on me in the first instance I saw it. It really goes to show that strange and unique ideas make money, they pieces can reach up to £4,000.

These sort of images or stunts could work really well in a guerilla advertising campaign, which is when advertising is done in unexpected and unconventional places. guerilla campaigns are able to be more imaginative and memorable forms of advertisement, as it gives people a unique experience which you can't always get from a big marketing campaign.
